The GUD MP50 diesel fuel filter is the in-line diesel fuel filter for the Renault-Nissan K9K 1.5 dCi engine in the Nissan NP200 (2008 onwards), Renault Duster 1 (2012 to 2020) and Micra K13 1.5 D, and for the GWM Steed 5 2.0 D (2012 onwards). It replaces Nissan 16400-1HA0E and Renault 164000884R, 164002137R, 7701478546 and 8200803830.

Which NP200 filter do you have? The NP200 1.5 dCi was fitted with two different fuel filter types over its life. The MP50 is 88 mm across and 210 mm tall with a water-in-fuel sensor and heater connection on the head. The other type is the GUD G1175, 90 mm across and 185 mm tall. Measure your old filter or send us your VIN and we confirm which one you need.

When to change it
Every 15,000 to 20,000 km on a K9K diesel, or as soon as the water-in-fuel light comes on. A blocked filter on this engine shows as hesitation under load and hard starting, and the common-rail injectors do not forgive dirty fuel. Prime the system after fitting as per the handbook.
