Service chemicals for scheduled maintenance: AdBlue diesel exhaust fluid and Engine Flush M2. AdBlue is what an SCR diesel injects into the exhaust to convert nitrogen oxides, and it is not optional on modern diesels. Let the tank run empty and the engine will derate and eventually refuse to restart, so top up before the warning light becomes a countdown. Keep it clean, never dilute it and never put it in the fuel tank.

Engine flush goes in before an oil change on engines that live on short trips and never get properly hot, where sludge builds up in the sump and around the pickup.
