Copper compound anti-seize grease, including Spanjaard Copper Compound. This is not a general-purpose lubricant. It is a high temperature paste that stops steel fasteners welding themselves together with rust and heat, which is why it belongs on exhaust studs and manifold bolts, spark plug threads on aluminium heads, and the back of brake pads and caliper slide surfaces.

A thin smear is all you need, and it must stay off friction surfaces, discs and pad faces. Keep it away from ABS and wheel speed sensors and their wiring too. Used sparingly it is the difference between a ten minute exhaust job and a snapped stud that turns into an afternoon. Nationwide delivery across South Africa.
