Brembo P30112 rear brake pads: Hyundai i30 N 202 kW and 206 kW
The Brembo P30112 rear brake pads are the Brembo Prime Line rear pad set for the Hyundai i30 N, pre-facelift 202 kW (2017 to 2020) and facelift 206 kW (2021 to 2023), manual and N DCT, hatch and Fastback. One box, four pads, both rear wheels, matched to the 314 mm rear discs.

Why Brembo Prime on an N car
The i30 N runs 345 mm front discs and a brake-biased N mode that works the pads hard on a track day or a Sunday run. Brembo Prime is Brembo’s OE-level road pad: same friction family Brembo supplies to car makers, high initial bite when cold, stable pedal when hot, low noise and low dust for daily driving. Supplied with the anti-squeal shims and fitting accessories in the box, with the acoustic wear warning tab as per the original pads.
Brembo also makes the pads for far more exotic cars than ours, and the Prime line is the pad most i30 N owners in South Africa fit when the original Hyundai set is worn: quieter than a track pad, far more fade resistance than a budget pad, and a fraction of the dealer price.

Fitting and bedding in
Check the discs for a lip and scoring before fitting; a worn disc will eat a new pad in weeks. Clean the caliper slides, grease the pad ears with brake grease, and torque the caliper bolts to spec. Bed in with ten gentle stops from 60 km/h and no hard braking for the first 200 km. Pedal feel sharpens as the pads seat.
