This 15W40 engine oil sachet carries 500ml of Greyhound G-Power 15W40 CI4, the most widely specified grade on South African roads, in a sealed foil pouch. Hilux, Ranger, Isuzu KB and D-Max, Quantum, NP200, Sprinter and most trucks built before the low-SAPS era all call for a 15W-40 diesel oil, and the same oil is approved for petrol engines, which is why fleets standardise on it.

Engine off, level ground, check the dipstick. Tear the notch and pour through the filler. Wait a minute and check again; most bakkie sumps move from the low mark to the middle with one sachet. Do not top up a low-SAPS engine (DPF fitted) with CI-4; those need our low-ash range.
