The Neptune RC3G-13L radiator cap keeps your cooling system sealed and holding the correct pressure. By raising the boiling point of the coolant, it protects your engine against overheating and coolant loss. A worn cap is one of the most common causes of overheating, and replacing it takes seconds with no tools.

The RC3G-13L is the long-reach version of the RC3G-13: same 90 kPa rating and 60-27 neck, but with a longer inner shaft that seals deeper in the filler neck. Use it when your original cap is the long-reach type.

How to Choose the Right Radiator Cap
- Check the pressure stamping on your old cap: it is shown in kPa, bar or psi. The number after the dash in the Neptune code is the psi rating: RC1-13 = 13 psi (90 kPa), RC2-16 = 16 psi (110 kPa), RC3G-7 = 7 psi (48 kPa).
- Measure the filler neck: outer diameter and depth. 44-15 is the small car neck, 46-22 the mid size, 60-27 the large neck used on many bakkies, trucks and older vehicles.
- Check the reach: if your original cap has a longer inner shaft that seals deeper in the neck, choose the long-reach RC3G-13L.
- Never fit a higher pressure rating than your system was designed for.
