Transmission Oil TO-4 SAE 60 – Extreme-Duty Final Drives & Transmissions
Greyhound Lubricants Transmission Oil TO-4 SAE 60 is a heavy-duty drive-train and final-drive lubricant engineered for Caterpillar, Komatsu, and other yellow-equipment fleets requiring the TO-4 specification.
It provides outstanding protection for power-shift transmissions, differentials, final drives, wet brakes, and gear systems exposed to severe loads, high torque, and elevated operating temperatures.
The TO-4 range (SAE 10W, 30, 50 and 60) meets Caterpillar’s latest Transmission and Drive-Train Lubricant requirements.
While SAE 10W and 30 grades serve hydraulic and transmission compartments, SAE 60 is specially formulated for differentials and final drives where lubrication of heavily loaded gears and bearings is critical.
Formulated with high-viscosity base stocks and a robust additive system, it ensures excellent film strength, oxidation resistance, and clutch-plate friction control in the harshest working environments.
